R2-KT Collectibles

Since she was born in 2005 R2-KT has been featured in a lot of products available to Star Wars fans worldwide. We’re coming across some all the time that we’ve never heard about! Here is a page featuring items made by Hasbro, Mattel, Gentle Giant, and other companies.

2007 San Diego Comic Con Hasbro Exclusive Action Figure

The most sought-after KT item to date, this action figure was officially created and released by Hasbro shortly after they learned about her in the Clone Wars movie. Sales of the figure netted $100,000 in donations for Make-A-Wish!
Hasbro lovingly recreated the template from the 501st Legion action figure packacing. They even had her Legion card inserted. We were so excited we asked for (and got, much to my surprise!) photos of her in the making. So this is a rare treat to see how a figure is put together. We received 27 cases of the figure and gave them out at children’s hospitals and Make-A-Wish visits. That’s over 500 figures! Considering they are so sought after, that’s a small fortune today.
Fun fact: on my visit to Japan I visited “Robot Robot!,” a toy store dealing exclusively with robot toys. The KT figure was featured at the center of the store atop a display proudly advertising they owned one. Pretty cool!

Mattel Hot Wheels Car : 2015

This was featured as a con-exclusive by Mattel at Celebration Anaheim in 2015. Mattel had KT shipped out to the show where she had her own huge display featuring her story. KT met the fans in line, which wrapped around the booth. This was part of the Star Wars Hot Wheels line that came out that year, but the KT car was the highest in demand because of how exclusive it was.

Maquette Statue by Gentle Giant : 2014 San Diego Comic Con

Star Wars : The Clone Wars Merchandise

True story: our family was at a local McDonald’s shortly after the Clone Wars release and stumbled onto this little gem. A sticker dispenser with KT featured among the characters coming out of C-3PO’s base! Nice!

R2-KT Grabber Arm : UK Star Wars Magazine

Jonathan Wilkins sent us a copy of this magazine that was only released in the UK. Not entirely sure if it’s officially licensed or not, but that’s clearly KT from the Clone Wars promo materials. We now have one of these proudly enshrined in the archives. Thanks, Jonathan!
