“Hello! My name is Dakota Crandall, I live in Noblesville Indiana and I started Star Wars costuming in 2022 and have been fascinated with droids ever since I was a child. Growing up watching the Clone Wars on TV made me love and appreciate droids and how much character they bring! Since joining the Mando Mercs and 501st I have grown to love the charity aspect and how much Star Wars can bring a smile to kids, and adults, faces when they are in times of need.”
“I have previously built out a Chopper unit and he has been such a fun droid to have interacting with kiddos, but I was needing something different. I wanted to build an R2 for so long that I knew one was in my future, but I wanted one that would mean just a bit more to me. Started researching color schemes and found out about the amazing and heartwarming story of R2KT. I was sold. KT42 will be going to anywhere there are kiddos in need of a smile, whether it is a hospital troop, sporting event, or a special needs event. I can’t wait for you all to meet her!”
