AmbassaDroids – KT40 – Washington, USA

I’m Kathryn and I’ve been a huge Star Wars nerd since I was a little kid. I felt like it was something that connected me to my older brother, which we would watch every Christmas when he visited. I enjoyed the OT but I really enjoyed the prequels more.

I started working with 3d printing while stationed in South Korea where I started working on an Azi droid. I really enjoyed the Clone Wars and Bad Batch. The more I worked on Azi, the more I seen of other peoples projects and felt like I really wanted to have an R series be my first droid. I put him on hold and researched some. I fell in love with the look of the pink on R2-KT and happened to come across the R2-KT website. I knew then I wanted to work towards joining their mission to give back to the community.

One of the things I look forward to the most is being able to brighten other people’s day by bringing something wild in a fantasy world far, far away to something right in front of their eyes.
